On April 20, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlu. The interlocutors touched upon the issues of cooperation between Armenia and the OSCE, including the implementation of certain programs. The RA Foreign Minister and the OSCE Secretary General discussed regional issues.
In the context of the efforts to establish peace in the South Caucasus, they touched upon the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including the importance of being agreed to the text of peace and interstate relations between the two countries. Minister Mirzoyan stressed the importance of signing the agreement.
Ararat Mirzoyan touched upon the approach of the OSCE Minsk Group, as well as the constructive proposals set by the Republic of Armenia to submit to the other components of the peace process.
In the context of the unblocking of regional communications, the imperative of the South Caucasus, as a unique intersection, and the time of use of great potential and transit opportunities. "This perception is based on the" Crossroads of Peace "program developed by the Government of the Republic of Armenia," said Minister Mirzoyan. Ararat Mirzoyan and Feridun Sinirliyoglu also exchanged views on the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey.
