The decision on the participation of Russian leader Vladimir Putin in the UN climate conference in Baku has not yet been made. Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, informed "RIA Novosti" about this.

Answering the question whether Putin will participate in the conference to be held in Baku, Peskov said that no decision has been made yet. The press secretary emphasized that Russia will definitely be represented at the conference.

On October 8, Ruslan Edelgeriev, the assistant to the president of the Russian Federation, said that Putin or Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin could participate in the UN climate conference to be held in Baku.
