Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted a delegation led by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to pay an official visit.
The Prime Minister welcomed the visit of Chan Tan Many to Armenia and stressed the importance of developing friendly relations with Vietnam. Nikol Pashinyan noted that the high-level reciprocal visits between the two countries testify to mutual interest in further deepening and expansion of bilateral relations, which is a positive and welcome process.
In his turn, Chan Tan Mannkhanted for the warm reception, emphasizing that the visit to Armenia aims to further strengthen and deepen Armenia-Vietnam friendship.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the need to develop specific measures and steps to intensify economic relations.
The interlocutors also emphasized the importance of continuity of inter-parliamentary cooperation, which can be an additional impetus for the development of bilateral ties.
Nikol Pashinyan and Chan Tan Man also exchanged views on a number of issues of regional significance.
