Two passenger trains collide in Egypt

In the Egyptian province of Minya, 250 km from Cairo, two passenger trains collided. Youm 7 writes about this. The Egyptian Ministry of Health announced that 23 ambulances were sent to the scene of the incident.

Of the 20 victims, 19 were sent to regular hospitals, and one to the University Hospital in the regional capital. The wounded received bruises, abrasions and other injuries, but no severe or critical cases were reported. The cause of the accident was a collision of a towed carriage with the tail of a long-distance train. After the collision, two carriages fell into the canal, and special equipment was sent to the scene to remove them.
