The first batch of 171 buses and 15 trolleybuses purchased by the municipality this year is already in Yerevan.
Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan said this while presenting the new imported rolling stock of public transport in Shahumyan Square.
"Yerevan Municipality bought 171 8.5-meter buses and 15 trolleybuses at the expense of the municipal budget this year. At the moment, the first batch of 22 buses and 10 trolleybuses is already in Yerevan.
Within two weeks, the entire batch will be in Yerevan," the mayor elaborated, adding that in order to finalize the reforms in the field of public transport in Yerevan and the replenishment of the bus fleet, it will be necessary to buy another 150-200 buses.
