Armenia and the EU will soon end the talks on a new agenda of the partnership


During the event organized on the occasion of the Full Environmental Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Armenia, the European Union (EU) government highlighted the deepening of Armenia-EU partnership, assessing the implementation of the HES Road Map, as well as the ways to increase the efficiency of the agreement.

The outgoing meeting, which was attended by about 80 participants, provided a platform for strategic discussions on the exchange of views between the partners and the reforms arising from the IIA. The representatives of the Armenian government spoke about their approach to the implementation of the ECF, presenting the existing challenges and the EU's further support.

"We appreciate the progress made by the Armenian government, but we must have jointly impose the reform process and deepen EU-Armenia cooperation in full force, especially in terms of implementing EU standards in the field of economic development.

"Despite many internal and foreign challenges, the Armenian government is steadily moving towards the implementation of reforms and closely cooperating with the EU's most important approach to bilateral relations, in particular the new Armenia-EU partnership agenda and to support the European Commission. Former Speaker of the European Union, Former Bulgaria Deputy Prime Minister and Former Bulgaria Delegation to the European Council, Ms. Meglena Kuneva presented the experience of Bulgarian reform and EU membership.

He emphasized the key importance of the solid state governing system for the successful implementation of the EU-related reforms.

By moving forward, the parties will continue to work together to ensure the priority of reform, strengthening the management system and the implementation of tangible results for Armenian citizens.
