After 9th grade, about 30 percent of graduates continue their education in colleges

After the ninth grade in Armenia, about 30.1% of graduates continue their education in colleges, and the proportion of education has decreased after the 9th grade.

In the sitting of the NA Committee on Human Rights and Public Affairs, the Minister of Education, Science, Science, Science, Science, Science, Science and Sports of the Government said. Andreasyan notes serious progress in compulsory education.

If the involvement in compulsory education in 2018 was 72%, in 2023 it became 88%. The Minister considered the indicators of children who continue their education after the 9th grade. Some children had the experience of not working on education after the 9th grade.

In 2017, 54% of the 9th graders continued to study in high school graduates, that is, almost half did not continue their education in high school grades.

Referring to 2023-2024 academic year, Andreasyan said. "About 39,000 children have finished and received the 9th grade. More than 24,000 of them have continued their education in high grades, more than 12,000 in colleges.

After the 9th grade, the index of which continues to education in colleges, it has become about 30.1 percent among the total graduates. "

The Minister thinks that this is a very good indicator and shows that the continuation of professional orientation and more intended education becomes more fluent.

"After the 9th grade, the proportion of education has decreased to 5.9 percent, which is more than 20% more than 20% compared to 2018," he said.

The colleges' reception registered more than 11.4% compared to 2024 compared to 2024.

About 45,000 students are currently studying in colleges. This regarded the country's economy as a good indicator.
