Yeghishe Zakunts, the relative of the fallen soldier, published a video, with which he wrote:
"On October 12, four years ago, in 2020, a sabotage attack took place on Tsor artillerymen due to the negligence of Jalal Harutyunyan, as a result of which 20 people were killed and one person is still missing. Tsor artillerymen played an important role in the 44-day war of Artsakh. They fought as part of Artsakh defense forces, resisting Azerbaijani attacks.
Unfortunately, after the war, many artillerymen were reported missing and their bodies were not found until months later. After their death, 13 months later, the bodies of the soldiers were returned to their relatives, and their funeral took place in Yerevan in the Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator, with the participation of Venerable Garegin II.
This incident is significant not only for those who fought in those days, but also for the entire Armenian nation, because they heroically died defending their homeland."
