Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is in danger, said Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic Aleksandar Vulin. The magazine “National Defense” writes about this. The Deputy Prime Minister noted that information about the existence of threats to the security of the head of state was also confirmed by the Russian intelligence services. “But the Serbian security services are quite strong and professional. We will cope with the task of preserving him (Vucic - Gazeta.Ru), we will save him,” added Vulin. According to him, many influential Western politicians see the president of the republic as an obstacle.
In particular, they consider it a problem that Belgrade has the opportunity to pursue an independent policy. “They really don’t like this, they would like Serbia to become just some kind of territory within the European Union,” emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister.
On September 30, Vucic stated that the Russian Federation currently has the initiative in the conflict with Ukraine. At the same time, it is becoming increasingly difficult for Western states to invest in Kyiv’s defense capability, he clarified. Previously, the Serbian leader predicted the timing of the end of the conflict in Ukraine.
