We will find a joint solution to the problems, because both sides have a package to put on the table and proposals for resolving the issues.” Andranik Kocharyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security of the National Assembly, said this in an interview with NEWS.am today, February 11, referring to the meeting of the interdepartmental committees dealing with the issues of prisoners of war, hostages and missing persons on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan two days ago.
“During the working discussion with the parents of the missing and captives, this meeting was a common thread. NSS Director Armen Abazyan presented what processes are in place, assured that this meeting is not behind the mountains, and that it is the beginning of the process that will bring us closer to resolving the issue,” Andranik Kocharyan added.
