On January 15-17, the delegation led by the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan is in Brussels on a working visit to participate in the meeting of the Military Committee of the North Atlantic Alliance in the format of the heads of defense staffs of NATO member and partner states.
The session is aimed at raising awareness of current global and regional threats and challenges and searching for collective solutions for their mitigation.
Issues related to the resilience of critical life support infrastructures in the era of climate change, widespread instability, emerging and disruptive technologies, hybrid and cyber threats, as well as the participation of partner states in NATO-led operations and missions are discussed.
