On January 9, Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the RA Council of State, received Ali Akbar Ahmadian, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Secretary of the RA Security Council welcomed the visit of the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Iran to Armenia and emphasized the importance of high-level mutual visits, which are based on the need for the development of bilateral multi-sectoral relations between Armenia and Iran.
AA Ahmadian, for his part, noted that bilateral relations have solid foundations and nothing can change or undermine them.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the regional processes and the prospects of Armenia-Iran cooperation in that context.
Noting with satisfaction the developing bilateral relations between Armenia and Iran, the interlocutors discussed the implementation of the already reached agreements and outlined new ways of cooperation.
Reference was made to the development of economic relations, ideas were exchanged on infrastructure development projects.
