Under the joint plan signed between the Defense Ministries of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the solemn opening ceremony of 'Birlestik-2024' international operational-tactical command-staff exercise was held in Aktau, Kazakhstan. The exercises are conducted in accordance with the joint plan signed by the defense ministries of the five countries. According to the information of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the country is represented at the 'Birlestik-2024' international exercises by soldiers of the ground troops, air force and navy, aviation means and ships.
