On May 15, Armenian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Armen Ghevondyan met with the head of the Armenia-Kazakh parliamentary friendship group, the head of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, the chairman of the Senate's socio-economic development and science committee, Nurtore Zhusip. This was reported by the Embassy of Armenia in Kazakhstan.
At the meeting, which was also attended by a number of members of the friendship group of the upper house of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, ideas were exchanged regarding the parliamentary support for the further development of the Armenian-Kazakh interstate cooperation. with an emphasis on the implementation of the agreements reached during the official visit to the Republic of Armenia on April 15.
In the context of the mentioned, the demand for consistent promotion of cooperation between the legislative bodies of Armenia and Kazakhstan, both within the framework of bilateral and branch inter-parliamentary structures, was recorded.
The preparation process of the regular session of the Armenia-Kazakhstan inter-parliamentary friendship group was observed, as well as the schedule of bilateral contacts and visits.
