The "Hraparak" newspaper writes:
The local government elections to be held in the fall have become a matter of life and death for the authorities, they have been working in that direction for a long time. In some communities they are busy neutralizing candidates, in others they are pressuring them, in others they are trying to find a common language, to make strong candidates their own, they are discussing pre-election and post-election coalitions, alliances.
We learned from a government source that in the enlarged Goris community on October 25, the CP wants to participate with a united alliance, headed by the community head Arush Arushanyan. The majority of the list will be CP members, but it is possible that it will not be officially announced that the CP is the ally, Arush is against it. We tried to get a comment from him, but he did not respond. The local mayor, Davit Ghulunts, who is also running for office, did not answer our questions, saying that "Hraparak" does not ask questions from its heart.
