On August 30, on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the consecration of the St. Hakob Church in the village of Vardenis, a Holy and Immortal Liturgy will be served.
The Diocese of Aragatsotn reports that, in accordance with the good tradition formed over the years with the blessing of the Diocesan Primate, His Grace Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, this year again at 09:30, the Gospel of Medicine, known for its numerous miracles, will be brought in a solemn procession from the St. Narek Chapel to the St. Hakob Church in Vardenis, after which a Holy and Immortal Liturgy will be served.
A Prayer of Medicine will be performed at the end of the Liturgy.
The Gospel of Medicine will remain in the church until 17:00, so that the faithful have the opportunity to approach the Holy Gospel with prayer.
