On August 27, at 1:30 PM, the 112 operational control center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received an alarm that a fire had broken out in the "JRVEZH" forest park in Kotayk region.

Four fire brigades from the Yerevan City Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Service and the duty group of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Operations Organization Department left for the scene.

The fire was isolated at 2:12 PM and extinguished at 2:35 PM.
