Pashinyan's decision led to a new appointment



By the decision of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Tatevik Martirosyan has been appointed Assistant to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

The decision was published on the website of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

In 2025-2026, Tatevik Martirosyan was a Fulbright Foreign Student Scholar at the Dickinson School of Law at the Pennsylvania State University, where she received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree with a specialization in technology law.

The main areas of study were artificial intelligence, intellectual property, cybersecurity, blockchain, smart contracts, innovative technologies, and digital regulation. In June-August 2026, she completed a professional internship at the Law Library of the US Congress within the framework of the Muskie Professional Development and Training program, conducting comparative research on foreign and international law.

Thus, Prime Minister Pashinyan continues to appoint professionals who graduated from leading foreign universities to positions, who, at his call, applied to be included in the personnel bank of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

Biography of Tatevik Martirosyan

Tatevik Martirosyan was born on February 19, 1998 in the city of Aparan.

In 2015-2019, he studied at the Faculty of Law of Yerevan State University and received a Bachelor of Laws degree (with honors).

In 2019-2021, he studied at the Master's degree program at the Faculty of Law of Yerevan State University, specializing in "Business Law" (with honors).

In 2021-2024, he studied at Yerevan State University, specializing in civil law. The topic of scientific research is the legal regulation of crypto-assets in the Republic of Armenia.

In 2019-2020, he worked as a lawyer at Aratta Consulting LLC.

In 2020-2021, he worked as a lawyer at the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

In 2021-2024, he worked as a senior lawyer, advocate at Sigma Law Group LLC.

In 2022-2024, he was involved in the work of the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) of the Council of Europe as a legal expert.

In 2022-2024, he was as a consultant, he was involved in the World Bank's project on the digitalization of justice services in Armenia, working on the areas of e-Justice, e-Criminal Court, e-Notary systems and the digitalization of court archives.

In February-September 2024, he was involved in the World Bank's "Strengthening Transparency, Accountability and Access to Public Services through GovTech" project as a consultant and legal expert, assisting the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia in the development of a comprehensive e-notary system, reorganization of business processes and design of digital infrastructure.

In 2023-2024, he was a legal expert for UNICEF, providing advice on national legal research and development of legal acts.

In 2023-2024 He was involved as a consultant and legal expert within the framework of the Council of Europe's "Advancing Justice Reforms in Armenia" project.

Since 2024, he has been teaching at Yerevan State University.

From September 2024 to January 2025, he worked as a legal expert and consultant at UNICEF, dealing in particular with legal issues of child protection, including child protection in the digital environment.

From November 2024 to January 2025, he was involved in the implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) as a national expert, being responsible for the approximation of the RA legislation to the EU legislation in the fields of employment, social affairs and equal opportunities, information technologies, as well as the fight against fraud.

From January to August 2025, he worked as a prosecutor in the Department for Confiscation of Illegally Originated Property of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia.

Since August 28, 2026, he has been appointed Assistant to the Prime Minister.

In 2025-2026, he was a Fulbright Foreign Student Scholar at Penn State Dickinson Law School at Pennsylvania State University, where he received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Technology Law. The main areas of study were artificial intelligence, intellectual property, cybersecurity, blockchain, smart contracts, innovative technologies, and digital regulation.

He is a member of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia, has a license to practice law and is a licensed mediator. He has the right to participate in the New York State Bar Examination.

He is fluent in Armenian, Russian, English and French.
