The Hraparak newspaper writes: “The funding of the “Government Mansions Economy” SNCO under the 2026 state budget amounts to exactly 621 million 340 thousand 100 drams. In 2023, it was about 542 million, in 2024 it was already 603 million, this year it is 18 million more than in 2025, that is, it is steadily growing.
It is assumed that these funds should be spent exclusively on the maintenance, utility costs, security and technical maintenance of state mansions and territories allocated to high-ranking officials (prime minister, president and others). But it turns out that they cover all expenses, starting from food, toilet paper and other household needs. For example, we accidentally learned that this institution even covers the costs of manicures for the prime minister’s daughters. “They go and get a manicure and pedicure, then we transfer the money from the “Government Summer House” SNCO to the salon,” our source said.
We tried to verify the information with the Prime Minister’s Office, since the SNCO’s phone numbers are not available to the public. In the hope of getting clarification, we contacted the Prime Minister’s newly appointed spokesperson Melania Harutyunyan, who asked for a written request, sent it, and we have been waiting for a response for about 15 days. From the mysterious silence, we can assume that they did not want to confirm, but they also could not deny, so they preferred to say nothing.
So, the Prime Minister and his family members, who talk about the plunder of public funds from morning to night, it turns out that even their most basic needs are met at the expense of the state budget. The question arises: why then does the state pay him a salary of millions?
