Israel's security officials did not expect that the recovery of Iran's missile potential would happen at such a speed, the Jerusalem Post writes, citing sources in the army circles. After the main phase of the conflict ended in April, the Israeli military believed that the strikes had damaged Iran's military-industrial complex, potentially delaying its development for several years.
But four months later, according to the publication, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is recording recovery in several directions at once, much faster than expected.
"Israeli defense officials admit that Iran is finding innovative ways to restore its missile fleet," the publication writes.
