Although months ago there was talk in the CP that Pashinyan was preparing the former ambassador to the USA, Lilit Makunts, for a high position in the National Assembly, NA speaker or faction leader, but Makunts at some point refused it.
The reaction of the team played a role, why should we eat so much spittle and suffer if he comes from the USA and gets a high position? He himself understood that neither Vahagn Alexanyan, nor Artur Hovhannisyan or Rubinyan can be, and asked to leave him in the executive, even if not in a high position. But in CP, they are not enthusiastic about candidates for NA leadership positions, especially the leader of the faction, who, they believe, has a higher status than the NA vice-president.
They are especially surprised that Arusyak Manavazyan, who has an incomplete education and is not remarkable for anything, has such ambitions, even though he managed Pashinyan's finances and is his eye and ear in the CP, but he does not aspire to the status of the leader of the faction, he has neither a political mind nor the ability to whisper. It is assumed that Pashinyan decided to appoint a henchman to personally lead the faction.
