Yesterday, March 29, a major car accident took place in Syunik region. Around 12:00, on the 270 km section of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, 39-year-old Shoker A., a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran, overturned with his "Pilsan" trailer truck and partially blocked the road.
As reported by a photojournalistGagik Shamshyan, the on-duty team of emergency doctors of "Kapan" Medical Center, who promptly arrived as a result of the accident, provided first aid to the driver on the spot, but he refused to go to the hospital.
1 combat unit from the Kapan fire rescue squad of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia promptly arrived at the scene of the incident.
The rescuers stopped the leakage of diesel fuel and performed duty on the spot.
The patrols of the 1st platoon of the 1st company of the Syunik Marz battalion of the RA Internal Affairs Police Patrol Service, headed by the battalion commander Arsen Sevoyan and the senior inspector of the battalion service Narek Manucharyan, also arrived at the scene.
The territory was demarcated by patrolmen of the same company, Sako Tumanyan and Hamlet Manukyan.
Due to the accident, documents are being drawn up in the 1st company of the Syunik Marz battalion of the PS.
