The anti-corruption court, chaired by judge Vahe Dolmazyan, today published the verdict in the case of lawyer Erik Aleksanyan, suspended judge Arusyak Aleksanyan, and his assistant Tamara Gasparyan, according to which the court issued a guilty verdict.
Let's remind that in 2022 on October 17, NSS officers broke into the court building and arrested judge Arusyak Aleksanyan and lawyer Erik Aleksanyan. The criminal proceedings refer to the case related to the criminal authority. In particular, the court decided to release Sergey Grigoryan, known as "Faz", a criminal authority, on bail, satisfying the petition submitted by his lawyer Erik Aleksanyan, and now the National Security Service accuses the judge of issuing an obviously unfair judicial act and exceeding his official powers.
In the framework of the same proceedings, the lawyer Erik Aleksanyan was also charged, whom the National Security Service accuses of assisting Judge Aleksanyan in passing his official powers.
