As of now, there is no obvious competitor for the "Civil Agreement" party. According to the report of "Armenpress", this was announced by the Speaker of the RA National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, answering the journalist's question that the electoral lists with their potential prime minister candidates are already being determined, and who, according to him, is the main competitor of the KP.
"I must say that at the moment, a specific competitor is not clearly visible, and it is not just my opinion, our discussions show it, because there is a long-established force in the field, which has a good party system and has announced its ambition. There is a new force in the field, which claims the votes of a part of the youth. There are even some such forces that try to propose for the youth. There is also a force that behaves like a surprise, but the more the representatives of that force talk, the more obvious it becomes that there is no surprise. In short, there are all the colors of the mosaic, and frankly, it is not obvious which is the real competitor," said Simonyan.
According to him, the ruling power always considers itself the biggest and first competitor.
"Our conversation with the people of the Republic of Armenia has been successful, and that conversation continues and will continue, that's why I can't concentrate and say something specific," the Speaker of the National Assembly emphasized.
