On February 11, the crisis management center of the Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Department received alerts regarding rockfalls on the Yerevan-Meghri highway.
The operative group of the fire-rescue squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine went to the scene of the incident. It was found that the rockfalls occurred on the 122nd and 112th kilometers of the Yerevan-Meghri highway. the road has become a one-way traffic.
VAZ and Toyota cars were damaged as a result of rock falls. there are no casualties. The rescuers demarcated the area and removed the fallen stones from the highway with the help of special equipment. traffic has been restored.
