Ronaldo beat "Juventus" in court

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese striker of Saudi Arabia's "Al-Nasr" club, won the court case against "Juventus" regarding unpaid wages. This was reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The court of Turin rejected the appeal of "Juventus" against the binding decision to pay Ronaldo 9.7 million euros.

The cause of the lawsuit was a secret agreement reached during the coronavirus pandemic, which allowed the club to delay the payment of part of the salary of the Portuguese striker. According to this agreement, "Juventus" owed Ronaldo 9.8 million euros. Ronaldo initially demanded almost double the amount, 19.9 million euros, but in 2024 the arbitration court partially satisfied his demand.
