2 more medals at the Youth World Championship in Budva.
The Boxing Federation of Armenia informs that after defeating the Turkish opponent in the 1/8 finals, Eric Arstamyan from Artsakh defeated the Azerbaijani opponent in the 1/4 finals.
In the first round, the referees gave the advantage to the Azerbaijani Nasibov, but in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, the Armenian athlete gathered his strength, and turning the victory in his direction, forced the Azerbaijani to leave the ring defeated.
Andranik Martirosyan of 60 kg also celebrated a voluntary victory, who, thanks to his persistence, snatched the victory from Albanian Adam Maka. Both our boxers are in the semi-finals and secured at least a bronze medal. Earlier, Rafael Nersisyan, weighing 63.5 kg, secured bronze.
