After the cease-fire in Ukraine, Great Britain and France are planning to build military bases on its territory, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced.

"After the ceasefire, the UK and France will deploy military bases throughout Ukraine and build secure facilities to store weapons and military equipment to meet Ukraine's defense needs. We have also agreed with other coalition partners on important next steps. First, we will participate in the monitoring of the US-led ceasefire. Second, we will support the long-term supply of weapons for the defense of Ukraine. And third, we will work towards making commitments to support Ukraine in the event of a future armed attack by Russia," Starmer said at a press conference after the meeting.
