Turkey called the events in Venezuela the beginning of systemic changes in the world

The events taking place in Venezuela will mark the beginning of broader processes in world politics, in which energy and rare metals will occupy a central place in the US military strategy, writes Turkish pro-government Hürriyet newspaper.

As the publication notes, "Trumpism" will leave a noticeable mark on US foreign policy, and the Western Hemisphere will become a new geopolitical fault line.

"The world is entering an era when "power will speak louder than rules" and the role of energy and rare elements in the American military strategy will increase," the newspaper writes.

It is noted that what is happening in Venezuela, according to the author of the publication, is not the story of one country, but the beginning of systemic changes in the world, where interests and the "law of force" begin to dominate principles. "This story is just beginning," the publication concluded.
