Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called Ankara "the only player" that communicates directly with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky and contributes to the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict within the framework of NATO.
"Turkey is the only player that can communicate directly with both Putin and Zelensky while simultaneously taking concrete steps towards the settlement of Ukraine in Washington, Brussels,
"In NATO and the United Nations, maintaining strong and balanced diplomatic ties," TRT Haber quotes Erdogan as saying.
Erdogan plans to discuss the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict with US President Donald Trump on Monday.
