Karen Aslanyan, a member of the Armenian wrestling team, became the bronze medalist of the World Championship in non-Olympic weights.

Karen Aslanyan competed against Bulgaria's Abu Muslim Amaev in the 63 kg weight category bronze medal wrestling match at the Non-Olympic World Championship in Tirana, the capital of Albania, and won 10:0 30 minutes after the start.
