A video is circulating on the Internet, where it can be seen how the employees of the "Animal Care Center" ANAC harshly try to catch stray dogs to take them to the center. One of the employees drags the dog with a clip on its neck to the car, but the dog does not move. Users expressed concern that the dog had died.
According to the video, Tatev Hovakimyan, Arman Babajanyan, Marat Tokhyan and Hayk Mirzoyan, members of the "Civil Contract" faction of the Yerevan Council of Eldersvisiteddog shelter: "Animal Care Center".
"Such a way of working does not correspond to the principles chosen by the city authorities, and such employees should at least receive a reprimand, which has been done. As there were opinions that one of the dogs was dying, the members made sure that both dogs are safe and healthy, and they will be neutered and released in the coming days," the statement said.
