The United States President Donald Trump has sent a message on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The message was published on the White House website.
"Today we commemorate the Great Genocide and all their memory, who suffered because of the most horrific massacres of the 20th century. Since 1915, there have been one and a half million Armenians in recent years since the Ottoman Empire, killed or death. On this day of remembrance, we reunite the Armenian community of America and the whole world, mourning for all who lost their lives.
We are proud of the American Committee of Armenian and Syrian Aid, which provided important humanitarian assistance to Armenian refugees, and are grateful to thousands of Americans who supported the Armenians displaced from their homes.
On this day, in the light of the tragedy, we are also witnessing the strength and strength of the Armenian people.
Providing tribute to the memory of the victims, my administration remains committed to ensuring freedom of religion and protection of vulnerable minorities. We look forward to continuing our strategic partnership with Armenia and maintain stability in the region, as we continue to strive for stable prosperity and security, "the message reads.
