An agreement has been reached on the development of cooperation between Armenia and Greece in the field of tourism


On April 15, the RA Ministry of Economy hosted the Chairman of the Tourism Committee Lusine Ghorgyan and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to the Republic of Armenia NG. Between Christos Sophianopoulos. This was reported by the RA Tourism Committee.

The parties presented to each other the statistics on tourist visits, spoke about the existing problems and the steps aimed at solving their settlement, the need to raise Armenia's recognition and the implementation of targeted measures.

One of the main issues on the agenda of the meeting was the organization of the first sitting of the Armenian-Greek joint commission in Armenia and the implementation of joint programs in the field of education, aimed at providing students' capabilities. He also spoke about the development of routes based on the history of the Greek people in Armenia and the need to promote the Greek market in Armenia.

The parties agreed to work closely with the development of cooperation between Armenia and Greece for the development of cooperation in the field of tourism, which will significantly contribute to the implementation of the joint sitting and the achievements of the agreements on raised issues.
