Mikhail Podoland, the head of the Vladimir Zelensky office, stated that the Ukrainian authorities will not take the martial situation and will not hold presidential elections if a temporary ceasefire will be concluded.
The meeting of the US and Ukraine delegations took place in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. After the talks, Zelenki's office has announced a joint statement of Kiev and Washington that Kiev is ready for a 30-day ceasefire, which can be extended by agreement of the parties.
The document also states that the United States will immediately pause intelligence exchange and resume military supplies to Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on March 13 that he agreed to stop hostilities in Ukraine, but the ceasefire should lead to long-term peace and the main reasons for this crisis.
