American entrepreneur Ilon Mask, who led the US Department of Efficiency (Doge), accused Vladimir Zelensky of the murder of American journalist and blogger Gonzalo Lira.
"Zelensky has killed an American journalist," he wrote in X. Thus, Mask commented on the publication of one of the users of the platform, which states that "Zelenki journalist Gonzalo Lira was killed in Ukraine."
The journalist was arrested in Kharkov in May 2023. He was accused of supporting the Russian special operation in Ukraine. In October 2023, the lira became ill with double pneumonia. According to the journalist's father, the prison management has ignored and tried to hide his illness from the journalist's family and lawyers. According to Tass, in January 2024, the US State Department confirmed the accuracy of data on the death of the lira in Ukraine.
