RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will be on a working visit to Washington on January 14-15, the RA MFA reports.
Meetings are planned with US counterparts, including US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
"The RA-US relations were marked by active political dialogue and valuable achievements in the previous year, 2024. On April 5, the RA-US-EU trilateral meeting took place. On June 11, the concluding session of the RA-US strategic dialogue was held in Yerevan and the vision of deepening relations was outlined, aimed at raising the status of the bilateral dialogue to a strategic partnership.
At the meeting, RA Foreign Minister emphasized. "At the core of our partnership is a strong commitment to democratic principles. Our bilateral agenda continues to expand and include important directions for Armenia's resilience and sustainable development. Considering the growing nature and dynamics of bilateral relations, we hope to raise our strategic dialogue to a new level of strategic partnership, which can further strengthen the structural foundations of our multilateral cooperation."
During the year, RA-US cooperation was active at various levels and platforms, including in the format of bilateral meetings between Minister Mirzoyan and Secretary of State Blinken," said the statement of the Foreign Ministry.
